Hey Warpath Family,
Choosing peace sounds simple until you realize how much you have to walk away from to keep it. This season may be costing you comfort, familiarity, or even people you once held close, but it may also be saving your soul.
You’re part of a movement. Welcome home.
We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Warpath Ministries community!

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms"
When You Choose Peace, It Comes With a Lot of Goodbyes
Nobody really talks about this part.
We talk about healing. We talk about growth. We talk about choosing peace like it’s some gentle, painless upgrade to life. However, peace costs more than most people expect.
Choosing peace means saying goodbye to old versions of yourself that survived by staying angry or constantly on edge. It means letting go of habits that once protected you but now only keep you stuck. It means releasing relationships that thrived on chaos, drama, or shared pain instead of mutual respect.
Some goodbyes are obvious. Others hurt quietly.
You start to notice that certain conversations no longer fit. Certain environments drain you instead of grounding you. Certain people only recognize the version of you that was hurting, not the one who is healing. When you stop playing your old role, the dynamic changes.
This is where many people turn back.
Not because they are weak, but because goodbyes feel like loss even when they’re necessary. Peace requires boundaries. Boundaries require clarity and clarity forces you to see things exactly as they are, not how you hoped they would be.
Jesus spoke directly about clarity when He said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives” (John 14:27). The peace God offers isn’t avoidance… it’s alignment. It’s learning to walk away from what disrupts your spirit, even when it’s familiar.
Together, we are Warpath, one body, one Spirit, one mission.
Keep pressing forward. Keep praying. Keep trusting.

Mental Health Check In
Take a moment and ask yourself these questions.
What have I been holding onto that consistently steals my peace?
Who do I feel drained after interacting with, even if I care about them?
What version of myself am I afraid to say goodbye to?
Peace doesn’t mean life gets easier. It means your inner world gets a little quieter. It means you stop negotiating with things that hurt you. It means you stop explaining your boundaries to people who benefit from you not having any.
If you feel grief in this season of your life, that’s normal. Growth feels lonely before it feels free. Be patient with yourself. You’re not wrong for choosing peace.

Prayer Corner
God,
I come to You tired of carrying what You never asked me to hold. I ask for the courage to release what no longer aligns with who You are shaping me to become. Help me accept the goodbyes that come with obedience. Help me trust that what You remove is making room for something healthier, stronger, and more grounded. Teach me to recognize Your peace, even when it requires hard decisions. I choose healing. I choose truth. I choose peace.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24–26).
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
